“In my opinion, this is a particularly well-situated hotel to explore Edinburgh's iconic attractions, particularly the Royal Mile. The architectural design, set in a former asylum, brings a uniquely tailored atmosphere. The French bistro and extensive wine cellar make it a destination in itself.”

A Stay with Shortcomings

bathroom cleanlinessoverly soft bed
I found some issues . The bathroom cleanliness was unsatisfactory upon arrival. I reported this matter to the reception, specifically highlighting the area behind the bathtub. The following day, this issue was not addressed, and general tidiness throughout the room felt neglected. the bed was overly soft. This caused me considerable back pain.

the location was acceptable, just off the royal mile.
My room felt more like a broom closet than a beautiful accommodation. It lacked windows. it was quite depressing. breakfast options tasted like low-quality supermarket fare, especially considering the price.
